Thankful…
I will be taking the rest of the week “off” to spend with my family and friends celebrating Thanksgiving and decorating for Christmas. Head over to my Instagram and look out for stories if you want some behind the scenes 🙂
The end of this week starts the month of sales and all the hustle and bustle of Christmas. As great as it is to find the best sales – I mean thats one of the reasons I started this blog – it is important to remember the real reason for the season. Today, I wanted to share things I am thankful for. I believe this year, when there are so many excuses to be bitter, it is especially important and I challenge each of you to do that as well!
My Lord and Savior. First and foremost we must all give thanks to Him. Without His love, we would all be nothing. Regardless of everything going on in our world, He is in control and none of the following things would be possible without him.
My Country. There’s so much hate and division right now. Nonetheless, I am still forever thankful to be a part of this great Nation and those who serve to keep it free every day.
My Health. There are son many people going through horrible health issues. Whether it be COVID or Cancer, and I am so thankful to be happy and healthy.
My family. My family is my rock and greatest support system. I could not imagine my life without them. They are with me through thick and thin and support me in whatever I do. We have so many great memories and even though this holiday season will be different, I can’t wait to spend it with them!
My husband. It is still crazy to me that I get to say that! Going into our first holiday season together, I can’t wait to start our first traditions, and make so many memories. I love going through life with him, and couldn’t imagine spending it with anyone else.
My job. I get to spend every day teaching and sharing my love of dance with the sweetest kids. I know deep down that I will have my own studio one day, but right now these are the kids that need me and I am right where I need to be.
My life
As cliche as it sounds, I love my life. I am chasing my dreams, becoming more confident in myself, and trying me best to live life to its fullest everyday. Even if that means CFA for lunch and a Christmas movie for date night. If there is anything 2020 has taught me, it is to never take a single breath for granted and live life to it’s fullest. There are so many people who are less fortunate than us, and even in the midst of chaos, we all have something to be thankful for.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and take time to tell the ones you love how Thankful you are for them!
I will give thank to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the priases of the name of the Lord most high. Psalm 7:17
