2021 Goals
I had a two week break from work and took some time off of working on blog content as well. It was great to spend two weeks focusing on my family, celebrating Christmas, & getting things done around the house! I’m not going to go on about how much of a dumpster fire 2020 was. I always find myself making resolutions each year, however I feel 2021 needs them more than ever! If anything, I think this year taught us that despite uncontrollable circumstances, that we should live our lives to the fullest. I think these “goals” will help me do that, even if they are cliche! Some of these are the same ones as I made last year, but they just didn’t pan out with everything, lol. Comment and let me know what your 2021 goal or resolution is!
– Eat healthier meals, especially at lunch. This is something that both Matthew and I decided we need to do! I am on the hunt for healthier meals and am going to make myself make healthier choices for lunch.
– Drink more water. I want to try my best to only drink water during the week and then splurge on the weekends if I want!
– Workout routine. Although I do get some exercise with work, I have noticed as I get older that isn’t enough. I joined the Open Fit app for workouts and cannot wait to get started!
– Make an effort to start each morning with a devotion and read the bible in a year. This one is super important to me, as this year more than ever I have found starting my morning in The Word leaves me feeling able to take on the day and less anxious.
– Read more. Besides reading the Bible in a year, I want to read more for pleasure! I used to love reading in high school for fun and want to make a goal of reading 12 new books this year.
– Learn to curl my hair. This seems silly, but I really want to learn to curl my hair myself. I have never been able to do it, haha!
